About Us

HealthHUB’s mission is to provide high quality, prompt, cost-effective medical, dental hygiene and mental health services to children from preschool through high school, with expanded dental hygiene services to adults.

HealthHUB, started in the 1990s with Robert Wood Johnson Foundation grants, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. HealthHUB has many foundations and donors to thank for its many years of on-going success. HealthHUB operates in collaboration with the South Royalton Health Center and Gifford Medical Center to meet and further the organizational mission. And, Chelsea Health Center owns and maintains HealthHUB's mobile dental hygiene facility.  HealthHUB offers services in the towns of Bethel, Chelsea, Orange, Randolph, Rochester, Sharon, South Royalton, Stockbridge, Strafford, Tunbridge, Washington and Williamstown, Vermont. Sites are the schools during the school year, and Gifford Health Care during school holidays and summer vacation with a two-week summer residency at the Chelsea Health Center (dental hygiene services only).

Why School-Based?

Since school is where students spend a considerable part of their day, providing health services at school offers many benefits.

  • Parents benefit by not losing time from work with prompt treatment provided for their children.
  • Students and teachers benefit by having more class time because appointments are scheduled in coordination with the student’s schedule.
  • Everyone benefits by having a health care professional regularly in the school available for questions and able to provide accurate information to children in a timely and friendly manner.

Our dental hygiene program is open to any age – students, parents and grandparents, school staff and any community member needing access to preventive oral healthcare close to home.
